Guest Post: My Eight Year Old

One of my favorite things about my son is that he tends to take an interest in whatever it is we’re currently doing. From aquarium projects to hiking/backpacking and even writing blog posts. So today, we want to step aside and give him his space to shine. This is a short story he wrote about his life, from the day he was born all the way to becoming the man exquisite young lad he is today.

Without further ado, here he is in his own words, with a tiny bit of editing from his dear old dad:

I was born in Kettering Hospital on January 16th, 2010. Later, I started talking and walking. Then, when I was 4, I was in the hospital for nine days because I fell off an ATV.

It was good in the hospital. Then when I got out, I was into games like Pac-Man. Then when I was out, I was in preschool. I loved preschool. I didn’t have to pack my lunch, they served garlic bread. Then Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I liked horror movies and scary things, then I got presents for my birthday and Christmas.

When I was eight, I got a huge scab on my knee and that’s my life.

The End
